We are a private and fully independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, with no ties to Estate Agents, Banks or Financial Institutions.
At Cockrams Surveyors we act in the interests of our clients, and pride ourselves in providing detailed, accurate inspections and reports based on years of professional knowledge and experience working in the property market.
All of our surveyors are Chartered MRICS qualified and members of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. RICS is the globally recognised professional body operating in the development and management of land, real estate, construction and infrastructure.
Cockrams has built a great reputation for providing bespoke services, detailed inspections, and in-depth reports. We have many clients who come back time and again, and our services are often recommend by past clients to their friends and family.
We do not profess to be the cheapest in the field, but we are proud to provide comprehensive, informative reports which represent great value for money and peace of mind. Cockrams provide a highly professional yet personal service, tailored to individual needs. We are approachable and happy to talk directly with our clients about property, concerns, and the service they require. Our client’s interest is our only concern.
History
The Company was formed in 2009 in Devon, and relocated to Truro, Cornwall in 2011. Our team grew as work increased, and in 2018 the Company moved to larger premises at St Piran House, Truro Technology Park, Newham.
Cockrams had always specialised in providing pre-purchase property Surveys and Valuations, but the market in Cornwall was much different to that in Devon. More people were relocating and undertaking alterations and improvements.
Continued growth and diversification into new service offerings, some specific to Cornwall, such as Mundic sampling and testing.
