Completed Projects
Project 1

This bungalow required updating and general refurbishment. Our client initially engaged this company to undertake a pre purchase survey of the property and after some discussion to undertake the design, planning, specifications of work, full plans building regulation approval, tendering and contract administration of the project. The project consisted of the complete reconfiguration of the ground floor accommodation incorporating the existing workshop into the habitable space forming a large utility area along with the replacement of the flat roof with a pitched roof. We also designed a substantial loft conversation over the main part of the bungalow forming two en-suite bedrooms and a central seating area with a glazed front gable projection providing views across the countryside to the coastline.
Project 2

This company initially carried out a pre purchase building survey on this property for our client and were engaged thereafter for the design of a single story extension along with the refurbishment and remodelling of the property. This property was originally built in 1999 but was poorly designed and had extensive problems with damp penetration within the lower ground floor accommodation which comprised of two bedrooms, bathroom and WC along with a small utility area that linked into the attached garage. We designed an extension over the garage to provide a good-sized sitting room which opened out into the garden to provide an inside/outside space once the bi-fold doors where fully open along with a roof terrace there-over accessed from the main bedroom above. We also demolished the original entrance porch and constructed a more traditional porch along with replacing the galvanised steel balustrade to the balcony with stainless steel and glazed panels continuing to the garden with timber posts and rails with wire rope to timber steps leading down to the garage on the lower ground floor. The garage was also converted to provide a wet area/beach room. The gardens were also landscaped concurrently including the construction of a retaining wall that continued from the parking area through the width of the house and to the end of the garden. This property has been successfully let through Unique Homestays since construction works were completed.
